Short version
We do not use tracking cookies on Your North Star. We do not run ad networks, session replay, or cross-site trackers. Because nothing on this site requires consent, we do not show a consent banner.
What we do use
Strictly necessary local storage
- Authentication token — stored in your browser when you sign in, so you stay signed in across pages. Cleared when you sign out.
- Assessment draft — if you begin an assessment (for example the AI Opportunity Map), your inputs are saved locally so you don't lose them between steps. Cleared when you submit or when you reset the draft.
These are first-party, functional, and required for the site to work. They do not track you across sites and are not shared with third parties.
Privacy-friendly analytics — Plausible
We use Plausible Analytics. It is cookieless, aggregates page views and a small number of product events, and does not identify you or follow you across sites. Read Plausible's data policy.
Bot protection — Cloudflare Turnstile
Turnstile runs when you submit a public form, to stop spam. It is privacy-preserving and does not use tracking cookies.
How to opt out
You can clear site data or use your browser's private mode at any time. Because we do not run marketing trackers, there is no opt-out list — the analytics we use is anonymous by design.
